Elise produced a news video about an environmental issue impacting a vulnerable population in Washington, D.C. Her news package is about the city’s proposal to place a bus terminal in the Brentwood neighborhood, a historically Black community, located in Ward 5 of Washington, D.C. For this news package, Elise shot Broll in the field, interviewed multiple sources and residents, planned and scripted the story, produced graphics, and edited the project through Adobe PremierePro.

As part of her senior journalism multimedia capstone course, Elise produced a documentary about the issue of beauty in the political world.
Profile Piece
In the Digital Media I: Introduction to Video Production Course at The George Washington University (GW), Elise filmed and edited a personal profile piece on a student runner. The video profile documents the student’s passion for running and her process in training for a marathon. Elise filmed this piece using Panasonic cameras and edited the A-roll, B-roll, audio, and text using Adobe Premiere Pro.
Informative Text Video: Overpopulation
For the Advanced Digital Production course at GW, Digital Media II: Introduction to Web Production and Social Media, Elise made an informative text video about the environmental issue of overpopulation. The objective of her video was to raise public awareness about the negative impact of overpopulation on the environment, and the steps people can take to mitigate the depletion of nature’s resources. Elise filmed this the footage for this video with Panasonic cameras, and edited the B-roll, audio, and text together using Adobe Premiere Pro.

In the Digital Media I: Introduction to Video Production Course at GW, Elise and her partner filmed and edited a video feature on a college YouTuber and social media influencer who attends GW. This video documents what being a YouTuber means to him, how he feels connected to his audience, why his subscribers see him as a role model, and how he became a YouTuber that loves to tell stories for people. The A-roll and B-roll footage for this documentary was filmed using Panasonic cameras, and edited using Adobe Premiere Pro.
