Elise created a social media campaign called #EaseTheFlow for the nonprofit organization, #HappyPeriod, which attempts to end period poverty by distributing period product kits to women experiencing homelessness. The #EaseTheFlow campaign utilized the social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, to spread awareness about and enhance #HappyPeriod's mission, educate the larger public about menstrual health, highlight the importance of menstrual equity, eliminate the historic stigma surrounding menstruation, and introduce and educate women in poverty or who are experiencing homelessness to the options they have in accessing menstrual care products.
